For demonstrating motility of the microorganisms using Motility Gelatin Infusion
Product Application:

Gelatin is a protein source and solidifying agent for use in preparing microbiological culture media. ... Certain microorganisms elaborate gelatinolytic enzymes (gelatinases) which hydrolyze gelatin, causing liquefaction of a solidified medium. Gelatin is also used as a nitrogen and amino acid source.

Product Dose:

Gelatine is used when preparing microbiology culture media in a laboratory setting. Gelatine is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans. A collagenous protein used for the solidification of culture media and for the detection and differentiation of certain proteolytic bacteria.
