Product Description:
Tartaric acid is often used as an acidulant in grape- and lime-flavored beverages, gelatin desserts, jams, jellies, and hard sour confectionery. 
The acidic monopotassium salt, more commonly known as 'cream of tartar,
is used in baking powders and leavening systems.
Product Application:

For chiral resolution(+)-Dibenzoyl-D-tartaric acid is used as a reagent in the preparation of chiral salts. It also serves as a reagent for chiral resolution of amino compounds

Product Dose:

Preparation of carboxylic acid esters by modifying the hydroxylic moiety of the ester, such modification not being an introduction of an ester group by splitting-off hydrogen or functional groups; by hydrogenolysis of functional groups

Hygroscopic. Store in a cool place. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
