Sodium Hyposulfite is an inorganic compound with the chemical formulaNa2S2O3. It is a white crystalline powder that is highly soluble in water and in turpentine oil The primary use of sodium thiosulfate is as a reducing agent.

Sodium Hyposulphite also use as a fixing agent in photography, for film development and extraction of silver from its ores.
