Product Description:
Polyethylene glycol has been rated a low hazard ingredient in skincare products3 and is safe to use on our skin. 
However, there are contamination concerns with regards to the use of PEG as some byproducts
Product Application:

Polyethylene glycol 3350 is used to treat occasional constipation. Polyethylene glycol 3350 is in a class of medications called osmotic laxatives. It works by causing water to be retained with the stool. This increases the number of bowel movements and softens the stool so it is easier to pass.

Product Dose:

A 68-g dose of PEG laxative seems to provide safe and effective relief in constipated adults within a 24-h period.

Product Note:

M.W. range 1,300-1,600. Hygroscopic. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
