Product Description:

RXSOL 27 is a concentrated, neutral, environmentally friendly, biodegradable, waterbased detergent cleaning fluid for cleaning and corrosion inhibition of gas turbine compressors. One operation cleans and protects the engine – and also inhibits corrosion.

Blend of non-ionic surfactants, corrosion inhibitors, organic solvents and demineralised water.

Gas Turbine Compressor Cleaning.
 
Gas turbine compressor cleaning fluids are specialized cleaning agents used to remove deposits from gas turbine compressors, improving efficiency and performance. These fluids are often biodegradable, water-based, and contain corrosion inhibitors. 
Product Dose:

By spray ring or lance in either starter-driver (off-line) or fired (on-line) wash as directed by the engine manufacturers, in the quantities recommended in the engine manual. It is essential during hot wash that the cleaner should leave as little ash residue as possible to avoid blocking turbine blade cooling holes. RXSOL 27 has a maximum ash content of <0.01%, as part of the compliance with OEM specifications for compressor washing fluid.

The unique corrosion inhibitor allows engines to be left ready for an instant restart, even in salty offshore conditions.

Clear pale straw coloured liquid with a mild pleasant odour.

Solubility
Completely soluble in water. No agitation required.

Compatibility
Not corrosive or detrimental to any of the materials normally used in gas turbine engines or aircraft components. No adverse effect on synthetic turbine oils.

  • By removing these deposits, cleaning fluids help restore the compressor's original aerodynamic profile, optimizing airflow and improving overall engine efficiency.
    Extend Engine Life:
  • Regular cleaning can help prevent more serious issues caused by fouling and corrosion, potentially extending the lifespan of the gas turbine.
    Types of Cleaning:
  • On-line Cleaning:
    Performed while the engine is running at low or idle speed. This method is convenient but may not be as effective as offline cleaning for removing stubborn deposits.
  • Off-line Cleaning:
    Performed when the engine is shut down. This allows for more thorough cleaning and the use of higher concentrations of cleaning fluid.
