MOPSO is a zwitterionic organic chemical buffering agent; one of Good's buffers. MOPSO and MOPS (3-morpholinopropanesulfonic acid) are chemically similar, differing only in the presence of a hydroxyl group on the C-2 of the propane moiety. It has a useful pH range of 6.5-7.9 in the physiological range, making it useful for cell culture work.

M 2375 (OTTO) MES, monohydrate, 99% Cas no 145224-94-8 - used in cell culture media, biopharmaceutical buffer formulations (both upstream and downstream), and diagnostic reagents.

MES or Morpholinoethane sulfonic acid is a zwitterionic N-substituted aminosulfonic acid Good’s buffer for biochemistry and molecular biology (1, 2). The pKa (20 °C) of 6.15 makes MES an ideal component for cell culture media and protein based buffer formulations to maintain a stable environment in solution.
