Electrolysis Process ( Pure & Concentrated )
This is an improved version of this method, known as the Hooker process, In the process, sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) formed when chlorine is passed into cold and dilute sodium salt solution. It is prepared with minimal separation between the anode and the cathode .The solution must be kept below 40 °C (by cooling coils) to prevent the undesired formation of sodium chlorate and to keep chlorine concentration up to 15%.

E. S. Smith patented a method of sodium hypochlorite production involving electrolysis of brine to produce sodium hydroxide and chlorine gas, which then mixed to form sodium hypochlorite. This is known as the chloralkali process. Both electric power and brine solution were in cheap supply at the time, and various enterprising marketers took advantage of the situation to satisfy the market's demand for sodium hypochlorite. Bottled solutions of sodium hypochlorite were sold under numerous trade names.

Here’s how to do it correctly:
 
Purpose:
This mixture forms a protective whitewash layer that:
 
Prevents cargo from sticking to the hold surface
 
Acts as a sacrificial barrier, reducing corrosion and making cleaning easier
 
Ingredients & Ratio (Per 100 Liters of Water):
Lime Powder (Calcium Hydroxide) – 5 to 7 kg
 
Milk Powder – 1 to 2 kg
 
Sugar – 1 to 2 kg
 
 
 
Mixing Instructions:
Fill tank or drum with clean, fresh water.
 
Slowly add lime powder while stirring constantly to avoid clumping.
 
Add milk powder and sugar, continuing to stir until fully dissolved.
 
Let it sit for 5–10 minutes for the mixture to become smooth and uniform.
 
Stir again before use.

RXSOL-16-1038-210 on the dry surface where possible! A dry surface will absorb far better than a wet surface. When applying RXSOL-16-1038-210 on vertical surfaces: Start application from the bottom and work upwards! If beginning from the top and going downwards, the RXSOL-16-1038-210 may produce "channels" down the surface, thereby running too fast off the surface.

During high-pressure cleaning: It is important that the rinsing water does not run over non-cleaned surfaces. The rinsing water can draw soap from the surface if running over non-cleaned surfaces. High pressure together with the optimum concentration of RXSOL-16-1038-210 will give the best effect.
