Product Short Description: Silicone Fluid Emulsion 60 RXSOL is a 60 percent emulsion of medium viscosity polydimethylsiloxane, using a nonionic surfactant system. It has been designed for use in many applications including automotive care, polishes, industrial release and textile lubricants.
Remarks:

Silicone Fluid Emulsion 60 RXSOL is recommended as a mould releasing agent in rubber industries. It can be used as universal release agent in rubber processing. Furthermore, the emulsion is suitable best for the formulation of paint and vinyl conditioners. The active agent contained supports an easy polishing of the conditioner formulations and improves the brightness. It is a specially modified emulsion of poly dimethyl siloxane to give dry, crispy feel to the fabrics especially to synthetics.

Dilution of Silicone Fluid Emulsion 60 RXSOL

Adjust pH to 5.5~6.0 with acetic acid

 

Procedure:

·        Take   66.7 Kgs of Silicone Fluid Emulsion 60 RXSOL in a clean 100 kgs capacity SS vessel.

·        Add 33.3 kgs. of demineralized water slowly to the product under stirring & stir for 5 mins till homogeneous.

·        Adjust the pH of the product to 6.0 ± 1.0 with acetic acid if required.

·        Filter through cloth & pack.

Applications:

1.    As Mould release agent:

Should be diluted to 0.5 to 1% with water, and are generally sprayed on to the hot moulds with a spray gun. In the spraying process the finest possible mist must be produced to avoid formation of spot.  Aqueous emulsion cannot be used for cold moulds or for the painting of compounds.  In such a case, we recommend our another product Mould Release-CL which  is a non aqueous product.

-      Curing                :         170ºC for 45 secs

Method of Application and Doses: 1st of all by stripping suction removes all possible oil (greasy materials)To  prevents evaporation of lighter fraction oil flush the system with cold water.May be brushed on, sprayed (Hand spray /Direct injection) recirculate  the system with RXSOL-10-1006-020 Solution.   

1.Cleaning with   washing machines. Dose rate: 0.3-5 ltr per ton wash water (0.03-0.5%
2.Cleaning with recirculation method. Dose rate: 0.5-10 ltr per ton wash water, (0.05-1%).
3.Spot cleaning. Hand sprayed neat or diluted up to 1-10 parts water and left for about 15-20 minutes before.
